FAQ
Boundaries & Respect
This is for people who:
• are physically tense or mentally/emotionally overloaded
• want proper recovery, not a quick fix
• appreciate a quiet, grounded environment
• are open to slowing down for a while
This is not suitable if you are looking for:
• rushed sessions
• unclear expectations or boundary-pushing
• anything outside a professional therapeutic context
• a "cheap quick fix" approach
I reserve the right to decline bookings that don't feel appropriate for this space.
Life happens. Just give as much notice as possible. There is a cancellation policy in place, which helps keep the schedule fair and stable.
Yes. You can mention any areas of tension at the start, and the session can focus there while still working with the whole body.
Booking & Logistics
Fitzroy/Carlton Area. Location details are shared after booking confirmation. This keeps the space calm and reduces unnecessary traffic.
All bookings are made through the online booking system. Choose your session length, pick a time, and you're in.
Yes, many clients come back weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on their lifestyle and stress load. Consistency often makes the biggest difference.
A deposit is required to secure your booking. This is because I take each session seriously and prepare for it in advance — not only the space, but also my own presence and energy.
When a time is reserved, I set that time aside completely so I can show up fully, be present, and give my full attention to the session.
Last-minute cancellations or no-shows affect that flow and make it difficult to maintain the quality and consistency I want to offer.
The deposit helps ensure that bookings are made with intention, and that the space is respected on both sides. If you need to reschedule with enough notice, the deposit can usually be transferred according to the cancellation policy.
Before Your Booking
Sessions are usually 60, 90, or 120 minutes depending on what your body needs. Longer sessions aren't just "more time" — they allow the body to actually settle, unwind layers of tension, and move out of stress mode properly. If you're not sure, start with 90 minutes. Most people wish they had more time.
You are welcome to undress to whatever level feels comfortable for you. My intention is for you to feel fully at ease and able to be yourself during the session. Draping will be provided to ensure your privacy, comfort, and respect throughout the bodywork.
Yes. You don't need any experience or knowledge. You don't have to "do anything right". You can just arrive as you are — tired, tense, overthinking, or quiet. I'll guide the session, and you can adjust pressure, silence, or communication at any point.
Each session is different, but generally:
• A short check-in at the beginning
• Work based on your body tension (not a fixed routine)
• A quiet, grounded pace
• Space for your nervous system to settle
This is not a rushed or mechanical treatment. It's slower and more responsive.
No. Some people like to talk at the beginning and then go quiet. Some stay silent the whole time. Both are completely fine. The session doesn't require conversation — it follows your comfort.
About the Experience
It's not strictly one or the other. The work adapts to what your body shows in the moment — sometimes soft and calming, sometimes deeper and more focused. The goal is not to "push through pain", but to help the body release tension in a sustainable way.
It should never feel like you are being forced through pain. Some areas may feel tender if they're very tight, but pressure is always adjustable. You are encouraged to communicate at any time.
This is not a rushed, high-volume service. I genuinely care about each person who comes in my space. I pay attention not only to their body, but also to how they feel, and what they might be carrying with them.
